Take your time.
Make your first cast count.
Our wilderness trips focus on remote South Island rivers and tributaries, where spotting a brown trout is only the beginning. Read the water with your guide, choose your approach and make a careful presentation.
Expect walking, changing conditions and fish that demand good casting. These trips suit advanced and expert anglers who enjoy the challenge of clear-water fishing and time away from the road.
A base close to the river gives you more time in the country you came to fish. We plan access and accommodation together, choosing the final location around the weather and the water.
