What we do
No Slack Loops provides experienced guides and expedition hosts for remote freshwater and saltwater fly fishing across both hemispheres.
From New Zealand to Argentina, Pacific atolls to the Caribbean, we work in fisheries where local knowledge and logistics matter. Our guides and hosts have spent extensive time on the ground, understand the water, and know the people who make each trip work.
Together with our guiding/hosting, we design and run bespoke expeditions to rarely fished, carefully chosen locations. Places like X and Y in the South Pacific Ocean. Conservation reserves with permit only access where bonefish protection is legislated and huge GTs school in the dozens.
Places deep in Tierra del Fuego with oversized brook trout. Remote New Zealand trophy brown trout water. Pacific atolls visited through trusted local relationships. These are fisheries that demand forensic planning.
If you’re looking for somewhere truly isolated, ask us. Be aware that we must ask for strict confidentiality before sharing any locations.
Commitment to Responsible Angling and Unmatched Expertise
We work in fragile fisheries and in tiny isolated communities. How we operate matters.
We strongly support self-determination by local communities in managing their fisheries. We provide advice and support to assist their planning.
We partner with local people, invest in conserving these places, support the villages and local suppliers who are pivotal to our trips’ success, and understand the vital role that angling eco-tourism plays in sustaining these remote wild places.
We are in turn privileged to be granted access. For this to continue depends on discretion, respect, and careful planning — from us and from those who travel with us.
It’s central to everything we do.
